17. The Language of Prayer

SSamuel 2022. 4. 27. 07:55

Romans 10: 10

10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.

Words are not smoke that disperses in the air, but a fragrance that rises before the throne of God.

God acts according to our words.

God works according to his words.

Words are so influential that they can shape a person's life.

A person who habitually utters the word of failure is bound to lead an unhappy life. Self-positive people lead a healthy life.

If he wants to change the direction of his life, he must change his words.

The language of prayer is important because God works according to the words. Because God is sovereign and Almighty, he can do everything he wants.

Because Christians have faith in God in their words, God works according to their words.

Prayers are answered according to the believer's faith.

There is faith in people's words.

It's not that God tells us to speak because we don't know our needs. God is omniscient and knows everything.

Christian language is important because it shows faith in the work.

1. We must pray in the language of wish.

7 “Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened. (Matthew 7:7-8)

The basis of prayer is to ask.

The starting point of prayer is to ask.

When Jesus taught us to pray, he first taught us to ‘ask’.

To pray is to have something to ask for.

To have something to save means to have a wish.

God makes a wish and does it.

And he wants to make his wish come true.

Only those who have wishes can make them come true.

If you don't check your wishes, you don't know you have a wish.

They cannot find out their wishes because they are complacent with reality.

He has a wish, but as time passes, he loses the hope of fulfilling his wish. To make your wish come true, you need to know specifically what you wish for. There is neither fulfillment nor answers to those who do not have wishes.

Since we didn't ask for anything, we don't know if that's an answer to prayer even if God gives it to us.

2. We must pray in the language of faith.

I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours. (Mark 11: 24)

A person who prays is a person of faith. Faith is responding to the Word.

To respond to God's Word, we must believe in His Word.

Prayer is believing the Word of God and responding to it.

God said that He will give to those who ask in faith.

Those who pray are those who believe in the word of God, which will be given to those who ask. He cannot pray without faith.

Prayer should be done in the language of faith.

Only then will great faith be built and great work will be accomplished.

The world lives in the language of facts, but Heaven lives in the language of faith.

Language is like a seed.

The words that come out of the mouth are planted and grown in the subconscious mind. A horse takes root, grows and bears fruit.

Positive words in life bear positive fruit.

Negative speech produces negative fruit.

A doctor who knows the power of words advised his patients to declare once a day, “Everywhere in my body, I am getting better every day.”

Surprisingly, the patient recovered much faster than the other patients.

If the power of words is like this, the language of faith can do more miracles than this.

3. We must pray in the language of blessing.

A single word from parents determines the fate of their children.

A husband's and wife's words determine the harmony of the family.

A single word from the manager can save or kill the motivation of the employees.

Words have a profound impact on the future of everyone who hears them.

The people of the Old Testament were well aware of the power of blessing.

In those days, when the death of the father drew near, he called the sons of the highest rank in order, laid his hands on his head, and blessed his future.

The family regarded the words of this proclamation as a will.

These words have the spiritual authority and power to bring success, prosperity, and health to the future of their sons.

Genesis 27 tells the story of Isaac's two sons, Jacob and Esau.

Jacob deceived his father Isaac and took the blessing.

Jacob steals his eldest son's blessings by fraudulent means.

But the blessings on Jacob are valid. Here we discover a very important fact.

Blessing rests with the giver, not the condition of the recipient.

Although Jacob used an unclean method, the blessing came to Jacob through Isaac's prayer.

God's blessings come from the one who gives the blessing, not the one who receives it.

If anyone asks for blessings, God's grace will come.
