28. An utterance prayer
28. An utterance prayer
Jeremiah 33:3
3 Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come.
▣ Making sound is power and ability. There is power in prayer that cries out with sympathy. The Korean church has a wonderful spiritual heritage of holistic prayer.
At YONG MUN SAN Prayer Center in Korea, that is ‘the prayers alter for nation’ that prays for the country and people 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
It is a place where the fire of prayer is not extinguished from 1 AM on April 30, 1963 until now.
The world is busy and busy with each of us, but it is a holy place where we do not stop praying and supplicating God before lighting the fire of prayer.
Whenever I go there, the sound of prayer fills the whole mountain.
There is a waiting room where people to pray are waiting in front of ‘the prayers alter for nation’, which is built on the top of the prayer center.
It contains seven rules for intercessors to follow.
1) Prepare by prayer while waiting 30 minutes in advance;
2) Wear prayer clothes
3) Write your name
4) Ring the signal on the hour
5) Donate to the donation box
6) Pray for the country and people through vocalization
7) We will pray until the signal bell goes off, etc.
What should be noted here is the rule, “You must pray with your voice”.
Vocal prayer is praying out loud, and it refers to today's vocal prayer.
There are many different ways to pray, but the reason for praying collectively is because there is power in collective prayer. Now, various prayer traditions have been introduced and the methods of prayer have also been diversified.
Originally, the traditional and most common prayer of Korean believers was holistic prayer.
It has already been 50 years since the rules for this altar were made.
At that time, I did not learn and pray the spiritual principles of prayer as I do today.
I prayed on my own knowledge from experience, but wholehearted prayer was recommended.
Because they already knew the power of vocal prayer.
Everywhere in the Korean church, powerful spiritual power was revealed through prayers that cry out loudly.
When every church held a revival meeting, healing and miracles appeared, and the prayer halls overflowed with people.
However, through the 1990s, the Korean church lost the wildness of crying out prayer.
As various alternatives to prayer were introduced, we lost our original precious spiritual assets. The saddest among them is the cry of prayer.
A holistic prayer is a powerful prayer.
1. An utterance prayer is a prayer that awakens the spirit.
Hannah was troubled in her heart and prayed to the LORD, wept and vowed a vow, saying, "O LORD of hosts, if you will look on your maidservant's affliction and remember me and not forget your maidservant, but give your maidservant a son, I will give him to the LORD all the days of his life, and give him a razor. will not put on his head.
Making sounds is a movement of the soul.
When you pray with a voice, the spirit is awakened.
The most difficult thing for a person who prays is idle thoughts and delusions.
I need to pray and listen to the voice of the Lord, but I am troubled by all kinds of distractions. When you pray aloud, you will have spiritual concentration, your spiritual senses will come alive, and you will experience the power of heaven coming upon you.
Crying prayer is the beginning of inspiration and the beginning of power.
Crying out and praying is the most basic way to receive the power of heaven.
People think that they have a problem and pray that things should get better.
However, if the bound spirit is released first, the situation will spontaneously loosen and improve.
Hannah was full of her sorrow because she could not have children, but when she cried out and prayed, God answered her, and the light of her worries went away.
2. An utterance prayer has the power to move things.
1 Now the gates of Jericho were tightly shut because the people were afraid of the Israelites. No one was allowed to go out or in. 2 But the Lord said to Joshua, “I have given you Jericho, its king, and all its strong warriors. 3 You and your fighting men should march around the town once a day for six days. 4 Seven priests will walk ahead of the Ark, each carrying a ram’s horn. On the seventh day you are to march around the town seven times, with the priests blowing the horns. 5 When you hear the priests give one long blast on the rams’ horns, have all the people shout as loud as they can. Then the walls of the town will collapse, and the people can charge straight into the town.” (Joshua 6:1-5).
The city of Jericho fell when the Israelites shouted and blew their trumpets.
5 When you hear the priests give one long blast on the rams’ horns, have all the people shout as loud as they can. Then the walls of the town will collapse, and the people can charge straight into the town.” (Joshua 6:5).
To use sound is to stamp papers.
Sound is the process by which the spiritual becomes real in the physical world.
Before a sound, a word is just a concept.
But when the word sounds, it's different. Now you are actually born.
Life is given to those words.
It is coming down from the spiritual realm to the physical realm.
Sound is energy. The mind moves through the thoughts of a person.
The body hears sounds and moves.
Prayer sounds move bodies and objects.
The Lord commanded the winds of the sea to be still.
He raised Lazarus from the dead by telling him to get up.
It happened when Peter and John commanded the lame man to get up and walk.
Sound has the power to determine.
What was vague and what was conceptual is immediately confirmed when a sound is heard.
It's like a judge reading a sentence and giving a sentence in a courtroom.
Facts that were unconfirmed before the judgment was read are immediately confirmed and executed as facts the moment they are pronounced aloud.
A holistic prayer is a prayer that resolves and confirms all problems.
3. An utterance prayer drives away evil spirits.
41 Jesus said, “You faithless and corrupt people! How long must I be with you and put up with you?” Then he said to the man, “Bring your son here.”
42 As the boy came forward, the demon knocked him to the ground and threw him into a violent convulsion. But Jesus rebuked the evil[a] spirit and healed the boy. Then he gave him back to his father. (Luke 9:41-42).
All religions have developed sounds.
The Spirit works through sound.
Evil spirits are afraid of sound.
It is no coincidence that the military demon-possessed people of the Gerasa region lived in quiet tombs.
The story of the conquering of Jericho with sound and the events of Gideon defeating the Midianite army with the sound of trumpets and empty jars contains a very spiritual lesson.
When Paul and Silas were imprisoned in the Philippian prison, the prison collapsed with praise and prayer.
When we pray aloud in the name of the Lord, the evil forces will retreat.
4. An utterance prayer is prayer in the closet.
6 But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you. (Matthew 6:6).
During the '1907 Pyongyang Great Revival', which made PYUNG YANG called the Jerusalem of the East, Missionary McQueen recorded Korea's utterance prayer in his mission report.
Let's pray inside the chapel!' As soon as the words fell, the voices filled with one prayer.
All the believers in the chapel were praying in a loud voice.
It was an amazing sight.
Some wept and prayed, while others listed their sins to God and begged for his forgiveness.
Everyone was asking for the filling of the Holy Spirit.
There was a lot of noise, but it wasn't confusing at all.
Everything was in harmony and in perfect harmony.”
Another report of the missionaries stated:
“The scene where a crowd of five hundred, or even a thousand, all raised their faces toward God and prayed with one voice to God, is a thrill that cannot be expressed in words. In this way, the Korean church experienced the power of prayer and came to know the indescribable power of grace that children of God enjoy.”
When we cry out loud, we enter a spiritually deeper room of prayer.
Prayer is focused and immersed.
It is time to bring the forgotten power of holistic prayer into our lives once again.
Amen
