Scripture: Psalm 121: 1 - 8
Title: “Gratitude for the Seven Graces”
1. Is there anyone who can't do 'thank you' because he doesn't know?
2. It is gratitude that we know but it is difficult to do it properly.
3. Even when I meet something I am grateful for, I do not know how to be grateful, or I know that I am grateful, but I am embarrassed to express ‘thank you’, so I swallow it in my heart.
4. If being thankful is not training, you will not know how to be thankful.
5. Greet the person on your left and right by saying, “Thank you for the saints.”
6. Are you grateful now for some reason. did you say
7. If you give thanks according to your feelings, knowledge, or mood, the reason for gratitude is not gratitude training.
8. It will end with a temporary thanks or it will be a word without a heart.
9. These Puritans were saints trained in gratitude.
10. These saints are familiar with the 7 gratitude exercises.
11. Through today's text, I will receive grace with seven absolute thanks.
Ⅰ. Let's thank God for helping me.
12. Let's read Psalm 121:1,2 together.
13. I lift up my eyes toward the mountains. Where will my help come from?
14. My help is the Lord, who made the heavens and the earth.
15. Our country can easily see mountains.
16. In other countries, it is said that there are many places where you can't see mountains because there are no mountains even if you try to see them.
17. Jerusalem is a city about 800 meters above sea level.
18. The Israelites living around Jerusalem always gave thanks to God while looking at this Jerusalem.
19. How hard and difficult are many things in life?
20. When I was in pain, exhaustion, and collapsed, I looked up to Jerusalem, the holy mountain of God.
21. This mountain is a very special place for the Israelites.
22. There is a reason they live conscious of this mountain.
23. Because it was the land given to their ancestor Abraham.
24. God called Abraham and led him to this mountain.
25. God chose Abraham's descendants.
26. The chosen people Israel are the Jews.
27. Jerusalem, the holy mountain appointed by God, is still important today.
28. All Jews around the world live around this Jerusalem.
29. God loves the Jews very much.
30. Jesus also came into the world as a Jew.
31. You must never criticize or ridicule Jews.
32. Even now Jews are very special.
33. Genesis 12: 3 “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse. All peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”
34. Now we are blessed and live because of Abraham alone.
35. If we live with God always in our hearts, we have no worries.
36. Many people say that they cannot sleep due to insomnia.
37. Many people feel restless and anxious because of worry about the future.
38. It's like that because I live without receiving God's help.
39. God helps me so I live happily!
40. Since I can't give thanks to God like this, everything in my life is a complaint.
41. Just as the Israelites looked up to Jerusalem, the mountain of God who helped the Jews, and gave thanks, we must look up to the cross and give thanks.
42. When I am thankful, I communicate with God.
43. Praise and joy resound within me.
44. Be grateful for all the circumstances in which you live
45. Today, when you come to worship, think of God's help.
46. Many people gave me a ride to church.
47. The Lord has given you bright eyes to see.
48. You made me eat and wear what was made from many hands.
49. In fact, everything I live for is provided by God's help.
II. Let's thank you for watching over me without slumbering or sleeping.
50. My mother, who gave birth to me and raised me, cannot keep me awake.
51. But God never slumbered; he always watches over me and keeps me from doing evil things.
52. Do you feel safe and secure and living your life smoothly?
53. How many incidents do you have every day?
54. That victim could be me.
55. Our lives are incomplete.
56. I did not risk myself by being careless.
57. A case of tripping and falling on an ordinary road and suffering a fracture.
58. A fire breaks out due to a short circuit while sleeping with family at night.
59. This is when an accident occurs while safely crossing the traffic light with a blue light on.
60. This is when you get a strange phone call and get scammed by momentary panic.
61. This is the case when you are working diligently, but suddenly you are fired because the company is in trouble.
62. Many of these dangers are common in the world we live in.
63. Think of God who keeps me.
64. We will have such experiences throughout our lives.
65. I know that I made a big mistake, but because of the grace given to me, my mistakes were covered.
66. I met a terrible incident that could cause me to fall, but I know that I survived because of God's care.
67. Dear Saints!
68. Do you still believe in God's protection?
69. The fact that I and my family are in the faith for the rest of my life is what God has kept.
70. How do I fit into the 20% Christian population on the planet?
71. How was I not born in North Korea, but in a country with liberal democracy and prosperous economy?
72. Absolutely give thanks to God who controls my future.
73. Let's read Psalm 105:1 together.
“Give thanks to the Lord, call on his name, and let his deeds be known among the peoples.”
74. Let us all confess together.
75. “Thank God. thank you jesus Thank you Holy Spirit.”
76. There was a female saint I met before.
77. As soon as this woman got married and gave birth to a child, her husband died.
78. I raised a child while working alone in a poor house without a husband.
79. She worked hard.
80. I lived diligently cleaning the bathroom in my spare time and washing dishes at a restaurant on weekends.
81. The rough palms are callused.
82. The son raised this way met the wrong friend and became a knave.
83. I lived a hopeless life by going in and out of prison from time to time, asking for settlement money from the money I earned, and giving my son Young Chi Gold.
84. The female saint was finally diagnosed with lung cancer.
85. She has no relatives and she asked to get her guardian from the hospital.
86. However, no one was reluctant to go to the hospital, and when asked to provide financial guarantees for treatment, they all refused.
87. I was so pitiful and pitiful that I became a guardian.
88. This person said that he was so grateful and said that he would also believe in Jesus.
89. The woman is sucked into her bible by how desperately she seeks God.
90. She was favored by God.
91. She went through chemotherapy and asked her son to visit her.
92. To that son, you too must believe in Jesus and go to heaven in prison.
93. The female saint did not reveal that she had lung cancer until the end.
94. She passed away shortly thereafter.
95. My son is a murderer, so even though her mother died, she couldn't even go to the funeral.
96. He is in prison for life, so he will still be in some prison.
97. The mother made a will to her son.
98. “Gyeongsik, if you believe in Jesus, you will be thankful every day.”
99. That's right.
100. Gratitude everywhere makes life worth living the best.
101. We are to give thanks to God who never slumbers or sleeps like this and protects us from countless enemies.
III. Thank you for being a shade on my right side.
102. Have you ever experienced the gratitude of shade?
103. I enlisted in the military on July 19, one summer.
104. I was undergoing military training at the training center, but it was a flat land without a single tree when I looked around in how hot the weather was.
105. Rest time is all about sitting and resting in the open field under the scorching sun.
106. I was sweating so much that I was dizzy and had a bad headache.
107. However, in the afternoon, dark clouds suddenly came and formed a shadow.
108. I can't forget the gratitude of the cloud at that time.
109. It was God's grace.
110. How grateful I am for that shade.
111. God always guards me at my right hand, just as he shields me from the sun and makes it a cool shade.
112. If the worldly power supports me, the people around us say.
113. Do you know who is taking care of that person?
114. The local police chief is looking after that person.
115. The chief of police says that he is his older brother.
116. Everyone envy you.
117. It is God who keeps and protects us.
118. All my life is covered with God's grace.
119. Do you think my life is too difficult right now?
120. Thank God.
121. If I come to church on Sunday and worship, I am at least under the shadow of God.
122. Let's read John 8:29 together.
“He who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, for I always do what pleases him.”
123. Jesus was able to walk the path of the cross of suffering because God was always with him.
124. If I believe in Jesus and walk the path now, I am under the shadow of God.
IV. Thank you for not letting Satan hurt me.
125. Let's read 1 Peter 5:8 together.
“Be sober, be vigilant; your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.”
126. The world is a very dangerous place for Christians.
127. The devil does no harm to those who do not believe in Jesus.
128. They are ruined people because they are destined to go to the lake of fire in hell in the end anyway.129. Christians die when they sleep in idleness, not discerning in the world.
130. Everyone perishes in pursuit of momentary pleasures according to the lusts of the flesh.
131. You are not saved by keeping the law, but by believing in Jesus you are saved.
132. However, if the saints want to keep salvation, they must obey the word of God.
133. Saints live by ignoring the Word, lose faith and fall into destruction.
134. In order for believers to follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit, they must always be close to the Word.
135. Saints must listen to the Word and obey the Word of God in their lives.
136. People put their heart and soul into things that are judged valuable.
137. Just as a bride-to-be grooms her appearance, I do my best when I decide it is important.
138. I must obey the Word in order to achieve salvation. If you are a believer who realizes that, you will never live revelry.139. Stay awake and pray, and live your life strictly governing yourself.
140. Even if the devil roars around and tries to attack such a saint, he cannot possibly attack.
141. Is there anyone who is weak to the lure of money, or to lewdness, or to addiction?142. By it my soul is beset with a deep disease.
143. They will soon die in spirit.
144. You must listen seriously.
145. Don't be too lenient with yourself.
146. Where the hell does that confidence come from?
147. Be afraid of it.
148. Fear God.
149. Adam and Eve, whom God loved, were also the ones whom God expelled from Eden for a moment of sin.150. He is the one who makes the descendants of Abraham also slaves and captives of the Gentiles.
151. When I do my best to live by the Word, the devil keeps me from harming me.
152. It is no one's fault that all lives fall.
153. They fall under judgment because of their sins.
V. Thank you for avoiding all tribulation.
154. Looking back over this year, how many dangers have passed before me?
155. God helped me so that troubles could not come to me.
156. Look at the fruits in front of you at the fruit shop.
157. It has become desirable because it has been protected from numerous pests and diseases.
158. I am so grateful that I have lived my life without major incidents or accidents.
159. Many suffer in hospitals because of tribulation.
160. Look at those who have been judged for their sins and imprisoned for a single mistake.
161. Look at those who lost all their possessions in one mistake and became beggars.
162. Where's the guarantee that I won't fall into that situation?
163. Always be grateful.
164. Saints are those who live by the grace of God.
165. Let's read Psalm 121:6 together.
166. "The sun by day will not harm you, nor the moon by night."
167. How can you say such kind, warm and tender words?
168. Day and night throughout the year God kept me and protected me.
169. It is entirely God's care that our church is revival in grace and the faith of all the saints is growing.
170. We must always open our mouths and give thanks for this grace.
171. We want to see the sun and the moon and give thanks.
172. You can always be thankful only if you train yourself to give thanks through God's Word.
173. Those who do not believe this precious word of truth have only themselves as the center of everything.
174. I succeeded like this because I worked hard.
175. Who is as diligent as me?
176. I'm lucky to ride the sandbar well!
177. All the thoughts of such people are futile, how miserable will their end be?
178. Let's read Psalm 73:17-20 together.
“I knew their end only when I entered the sanctuary of God.
You indeed put them in a slippery place and cast them into ruin.
It is astounding how they were so suddenly devastated. They were annihilated.
Lord, as a man despises dreams after waking, so when you awake, you will despise their images.”
179. Not all saints are exempt from tribulation in this world.
180. Thank you very much for avoiding all tribulation.
181. The Lord seems to be sleeping right now, so I don't clearly realize the grace, but I will know it clearly in the end.
VI. Thank you for keeping my soul.
182. I am thankful even if only our bodies are protected, but He also protects my soul.
183. When the life span of the body is over, only my soul remains.
184. Everyone is made up of a soul and a body.
185. Those whose souls are not renewed by the grace of God are in despair.
186. Those who know that the finite body is everything say:
187. Death is the end. Do you say there is an afterlife?
188. If the death of the body is the end, is there any reason to cherish the life of the body?
189. It will be over soon.
190. People say things like that, but they don't know it well, so they say it at that level.
191. That person is lying.
192. The soul wants to receive God's grace, but it is blocked by itself and does not know what to do.
193. This wicked devil is himself.
194. Self-denial saves my soul.
195. If you carelessly misunderstand this part, you can become like a Gnostic.
196. Do not think that all bodies are unclean and only the soul is important.197. Both soul and body must be well and strong.
198. When my soul is full of joy, my body is naturally full of joy and peace.
199. Let's read 3 John 1:2 together.
“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.”
200. If my soul goes well, everything goes well and I live a healthy life.
201. In order for my soul to prosper, I must seek and pray to God, the owner of my soul, every day.
202. When people meet God, their faces shine and joy overflows.
203. My soul must enter into God, and only when God enters into me can I always live joyfully and thankfully.
204. Never miss a Sunday service for the peace of my soul.
205. Those who do not worship on Sundays and seek the pleasures of the world do so because they do not know this grace.
206. People can live their best lives only when they receive spiritual supply from God.
VII. Thank you for keeping my entry and exit even to heaven.
207. We are protected by God in heaven as well as in this world.
208. Neither this world nor heaven is a place to live chaotically.
209. In this world, you have to overcome cold and heat and overcome diseases to survive.
210. Everything in the natural world exists by the grace of God.
211. People must live by the Word of God to be guaranteed the kingdom of heaven beyond this world.
212. The Bible is the blueprint for all of life.
213. The blueprint for the kingdom of God is the Bible.
214. We must unconditionally follow whatever God directs us to do.
215. Don't mix my thoughts.
216. Don't judge others.
217. I don't have the ability to do that.
218. When the sheep follow the shepherd's guidance, they can eat deliciously in green pastures and rest by the waters where they can rest.
219. God guides us through the Word.
220. When we live by obeying the Word of God every day, the kingdom of heaven is closer.
221. The words that say the word of God is right or wrong are the words of the devil.
222. The devil always tempts people to make this judgment.
223. How much would a creature know if it knew the will of God the Creator?
224. I once preached at another church and heard amazing things after the service.
225. Pastor, your sermon is good.
226. I was in a bad mood when I heard this.
227. The theme of the sermon was the message that 'obedience is better than sacrifice'.
229. You just have to obey. What standard do you use to evaluate good and bad?
230. There is always a reason within us that wants to compare and judge everything.
231. Reason is not bad; it is wrong to criticize the truth with reason.
232. Reason must be strengthened to be useful in cultivating knowledge, information, manners, and character in the world.
233. We must absolutely obey God's word of truth.
234. All who criticize the word of God with reason will slide down to death.
235. He is the God who guards my entry and exit even from heaven.

237. I. I thank God for helping me.
238. II. Thank you for watching over me without slumbering or sleeping.
239. III. Thank you for being a shade on my right side.
240. IV. Thank you for not letting me hurt you.
241. V. Thank you for avoiding all tribulation.
242. VI. Thank you for keeping my soul.
243. VII. Thank you for keeping my entry and exit even to heaven.
244. People cannot be angry with people who say thank you.
245. “Gratitude is complete when expressed!”
246. Live a life of active gratitude.
247. If we feel gratitude but do not express it in words, it is not “gratitude”.
248. To be grateful, to express gratitude in detail, going one step further here, it seems that there is nothing to be thankful for now.
249. But giving thanks in advance has the ability to make a very special and happy change in our lives.
250. As a specific training for living a life of gratitude, I actively recommend writing a ‘gratitude note’.
