Scripture: Isa 43: 14-21
Title: I will do new work (2023 New Year)
1. God loves you especially.
2. He has helped me with everything to get to where I am now.
3. He gives us everything we need without worrying all the time.
4. We worship God for guiding us safely throughout the year.
5. We have had a very difficult time over the past three years.
6. This kind of difficulty was the first time in our lives.7. There is no end to the economic crisis due to the global corona pandemic.
8. At the same time, Russia is invading Ukraine and is waging war.
9. The provocation of war by Russia, the world's second-largest oil producer, has made energy supply and demand difficult, and manufacturing-oriented countries are taking a huge hit on their exports.
10. The United States is focused on protecting its industries and increasing jobs for its citizens.
11. Historically, when economic powers turn in the direction of their own interests, the damage to weaker countries is enormous.
12. War is not a fight between military weapons and soldiers, but a fight between national power.
13. National power is the combined strength of a country's resources, technology, market, and capital.
14. In ancient societies, national power was determined by the primary industry, agricultural productivity.
15. Occupying fertile soil is essential for abundant agricultural production.
16. Egypt has fertile soil because of the Nile.
17. Persia and Babylon built their empires on the Tigris and Euphrates rivers.
18. The hometown of Abraham, the father of faith, is the region of Ur of the Chaldeans.
19. This region is the delta plain between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers.
20. Since these areas are rich in produce, many tribes living nearby come to exchange their special products to buy grain.
21. So cities were formed and religion flourished.
22. Abraham's father, Tera, also maintained a family business by making and selling idols in these cities.
23. It is God who calls Abraham, who used to sell idols in this area, and gives him the gift of faith.24. We also received God's calling after living the same life in the world.
25. Calling is to realize by receiving the gift of faith.
26. The proof that I have this faith is that now I am hearing the Word of God in church.
27. Keeping the faith is not easy.
28. A person is swayed to and fro by circumstances or by his or her emotions.29. Even if you are a Christian, it is not very different.
30. Good things should not be forgotten, but we forget the more precious things the sooner.
31. Even if you try to save and keep it for a long time, it's really hard to keep it.
32. It is very difficult to keep faith, love, money, health, and knowledge.
33. You can keep it with effort.
34. When the Israelites neglected this effort, they lost their faith.
35. And they were taken prisoner by the enemy.
36. When the saints lose faith, God beats them with hardships and hardships.
37. I hope our members become wise people and always live God-centered lives.
38. How good would it have been if the Israelites had served God well in the temple in Jerusalem?
39. They sought peace with Gentile religions based on their rational judgment and neglected their relationship with God.
40. That is why they were destroyed by the invasion of the Babylonian Empire, a rising power.
41. Most of them died and some survived and were captured as slaves in Babylon and Chaldea.
42. Farming the delta plains of the Babylonian Empire required a lot of labor.
43. They invaded from country to country, secured a lot of labor force, managed the Great Plains, and accumulated great wealth.
44. Even now, dozens of cargo ships are operating every day in all ports around the world, centered on the ports of New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles in the United States.
45. Because the richest country has the best consumer market.
46. The newly industrialized countries of the world cannot make a profit unless they enter the US market.
47. This phenomenon is why the US dollar has become the standard currency around the world.
48. 2600 years ago, the economic center of the earth was the Babylonian Empire.
49. The Israelites lost their country and were taken captive in 600 BC.
50. He took the bright children and served them as officials in the palace of the king of Babylon.
51. Farmers who were good at farming farmed along the Tigris River.
52. Those who were good at herding lived by taking care of the horses and cattle of the nobles of Babylon.
53. This captivity lasted as long as 70 years.
54. Most of those taken captive never returned and almost died there.
55. On the Chaldean River in Babylon, there was a banquet every day on a luxurious cruise ship for nobles.
56. Abraham's descendants served at the banquets of the Gentiles.
57. It is truly deplorable to see the Jews living miserably as their slaves.
58. The time has come when God promised the Israelites salvation.
59. No matter how hard and difficult it is, persevere.
60. When the time appointed by God comes, the grace of salvation will surely come upon me.
61. Let's read Isaiah 43:14 together.
“Thus saith the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, and for your sake I will send men to Babylon, and cause all the Chaldeans to flee in the ships with which they communicated.”
62. God did not forsake the Israelites.
63. Even now the people of Israel are still at the center of the world.
64. Cyrus, the first king of Persia, was sent to Babylon to save the Israelites from captivity in Babylon.
65. Cyrus means 'sun'.
66. He was the first king of Persia
67. Cyrus destroyed the Babylonian Empire in 539 B.C. on the night that Belshazzar, king of Babylon, was giving a banquet.
68. And founded the Persian Empire.
69. Cyrus, claiming to be a liberator, returned the idols he had left in Babylon to their original cities.
70. He bestowed the good of returning captives.
71. As a result, the people of Judah who were taken captive to Babylon were able to return to the mainland and rebuild the temple.
72. This is why the prophet Isaiah called Cyrus 'the anointed one'.
73. No matter how violent the world may be and attack us, fear not.
74. Who knew the Babylonian Empire would fall in 80 years?
75. He is the God who builds and destroys all empires.
76. All the powers of the world are not eternal.
77. It exists only in its power for as long as the Lord allows it.
78. Let's read Isaiah 43:15 together.
“I am the LORD your Holy One, the Creator of Israel and your King.” Do you believe in God as your King?
79. Since God is my King, why do I worry and worry?
80. The king of the world has no ability to feed his people.
81. But God feeds the birds of the air as well as the unchosen.
82. It is God who created a place to eat and live.
83. How much more so are we who have been called as children of God.
84. God, our King and Father, called Cyrus to rescue the oppressed Israelites and destroyed the great Babylonian Empire.
85. Every day in the world there is more depressing news than hopeful news.
86. Even if you read the newspaper or watch the news, it reports devastating news.
87. Very gloomy prospects are being reported, but never worry.
88. So far I've rarely had very good prospects for the coming year.
89. In the world, everything is relative and transitory.
90. Nothing lasts forever.
91. We Christians are people who live by making new roads that do not exist.
92. It is to believe in the word of God and live by the word.
93. See how the Word changes the world and opens a new path.
94. Let's read Isaiah 43:16,17 together.
“Thus saith the Lord. He made a road in the middle of the sea and a shortcut in the middle of the great waters, and brought out chariots and horses and mighty men of the army, so that they fell down at once and could not get up, and were consumed like a burning lamp.”
95. As we read the Bible, there are many things God did that do not make sense to our common sense.
96. That's why I say I don't believe in the part that I don't understand.
97. Those who experienced the experience of the Israelites parting the Red Sea and walking through it believed.
98. However, ordinary people who have not personally experienced the spectacle doubt it.
99. The Egyptian soldiers who were chasing the Israelites fiercely pursued them in anger at losing their firstborn son.
100. Their anger drove their chariots to the sea-road.
101. Egypt's elite cavalry vanished in an instant into the waters of the Red Sea.
102. In the main text, this scene is like a lamp that goes out.
103. You can't watch the lamp go out.
104. Because in an instant the flame goes out.
105. This is what God does.
106. No matter how great the authority is, it will disappear in an instant.
107. You've seen popular chaebol companies go bankrupt due to bankruptcy.
108. You have seen such a healthy person die in a few months after being hospitalized in a general hospital.
109. You are seeing what God is doing.
110. There are still many cases in which the world ends with incomprehensible instantaneous events.
111. Let's read Isaiah 43:18 together.
“You shall not remember the former things, nor shall you think of the former things.”
112. What you have just read is a command from God.
113. We remember traumatic events from earlier times.
114. We cannot forget a time when something similar to a crisis or horror we have experienced in the past has occurred.
115. We live through the symptoms of psychological anxiety, feeling the emotions of the time again.
116. We must throw away all these things now and welcome the new year.
117. To the person on your left and right, “Leave the bad memories and thoughts.” let's say
118. Abandoning this is faith.
119. Those who carry out God's commands are saints.
120. God tells us not to remember the past and not to think of the past.
121. You should never fall into this trap from time to time, claiming that you are a believer.
122. When we greet a new day, we must welcome everything anew.
123. Let's read Isaiah 43:19 together.
“Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth; do you not know it? Surely I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”
124. Your church motto should be “I will do a new thing, now it shall appear.”
125. Your church is a church that is renewed every day.
126. This is a year in which church revival and individual growth are desperately needed.
127. I believe that God will make the lives of the saints grow.
128. In order for the church to grow, the members must be transformed by the Word.
129. Transformed believers work hard for evangelism in the fervor of prayer.
130. The church is overcrowded with new believers every Sunday.
131. God's blessings abound in the members, their families, and their businesses.
132. God speaks. “Do you not know it?”
133. He gives us confidence so confidently. “Please believe me.”
134. What I am doing you must believe without doubt.
135. The word “must” means “without any doubt.”
136. It means that it will definitely come true 100%.
137. Believe that God will make a way in the wilderness.
138. Trust God to give rivers to the desert.
139. It is very hard to believe this.
140. But there is absolutely no reason not to believe it.
141. We are Bible believers.
142. I believe that God raised the dead.
143. I am a believer in healing the incurable and opening the eyes of the blind.
144. God is the one who fed, clothed, and slept 2 million people in the wilderness for 40 years.
145. This is history and fact.
146. The road they walked is now a road.
147. They passed through on foot by the way that opened the Red Sea.
148. The way will be opened for our church now from the new year.
149. The business of the saints will prosper.
150. God planned and called us as the channel of salvation.
151. Let's read Isaiah 43:20 together.
“The wild animals of the field, the hounds and ostriches, will respect me, because I will give water to the wilderness and rivers to the desert, to give drink to my people, to those whom I have chosen.”
152. The beasts of the field will honor God.
153. These wild beasts are a metaphor for the Gentiles.
154. How can gentiles honor God?
155. They have no knowledge of God and no spiritual grace.
156. It means that we will see our saints live by receiving God's grace, just as water flows in a dry wilderness and rivers flow in a desert.
157. The Word of God is indeed so literary beautiful.
158. Such a wonderful and beautiful parable cannot be found anywhere else except in the Bible.
159. I bless and love you saints who receive this message.
160. How thankful I am for the word of God given on a new day.
161. My people, I will give drink to those I choose.
162. When God chose us, he already prepared and called us this kind of grace.
163. He prepared all the blessings and called us as children.
164. All the blessings of the world belong to God's people.
165. Seeing the saints receive this kind of blessing, the beasts of the field (the Gentiles) would say, “God indeed lives!” I think.
166. What ability do I have to receive God's blessing like this? Don't think like this.
167. There is nothing of my power in me.
168. I must believe that God will give me new things to do.169. It is impossible to do new things if you are blocked by the barriers of reality.
170. The only way to overcome this barrier is through simple faith.
171. You cannot have this faith with complicated thoughts.
172. When God made a way in the wilderness, the Israelites only followed Moses.
173. When God brought water out of the rock, the Israelites only drank the flowing water.
174. When the waters of the Red Sea parted, they only walked along the sea path.
175. At that time not one of the Israelites could find another way.
176. Obedience was everything.
177. There is absolutely no other alternative.
178. It's all about following the person in front.
179. During that long life, their faith became life and life.
180. God changes us who live like this.
181. Let's read Philippians 3:21 together.
“He will transform our lowly bodies to be like his glorious body by the power of him who is able to subject all things to himself.”
182. After I believed in Jesus, I was completely changed. If you acknowledge that, please say Amen.
183. This is the work of grace done by the Holy Spirit.
184. The amazing thing about evangelism is that the Holy Spirit is still working.
185. It is a great joy to me to see all the saints being transformed.
186. Let's read Isaiah 43:21 together.
“This people I formed for myself, that they might praise me.”
187. Greater works happen when we sing praises to God.
188. Sing God always in hymns.
189. Our God is most pleased when we sing.
190. The purpose of our creation is to praise God.
191. When you sing a lot of hymns, the door to prayer opens wide.
192. Saints who sing hymns often receive the filling of the Holy Spirit.
193. Saints who start each day with a hymn are never put to the test.
194. Start the day with hymns and prayers.
195. Now, the place where our saints will go out to the world and welcome them is not Babylon. Not even Persia.
196. A new land where God gave me a chance.
197. All things will be new to him who walks in hope.
198. While the Israelites lived in slavery for 70 years, there was no hope for them.
I didn't know what it was.
199. I didn't know at all until the word of God was preached.
200. Babylon fell and King Cyrus of Persia came to power.
201. Jews were given the opportunity to read the Bible again.
202. At that time, their spirits were revived by scholars reading the Bible.
203. They have restored the lost song.
204. They were able to have dreams and hopes.
205. Dear Saints,
206. Praise God with your mouth.
207. That is the purpose for which you were created.
208. I love God. “I praise God.” Cry out loud like this.
209. Nothing in the world can ever stop you from doing this.
210. Neither look nor think of my condition. Praise God unconditionally.
211. Those who do this will do new things in the new year.
212. The one who controls the rise and fall of an empire is my God.
213. It is too easy for God to change one's life.
214. Praise the Lord, exalt Him, believe and worship Him.
215. I have no ability to renew myself.
216. The Spirit of God must come upon me and renew me.
217. Our Lord seeks me who cry out.
218. I cannot please God in my opinion.
219. God does everything when we have simple and sure faith.
220. God is my King.
221. I am God's people.
222. Absolutely I trust God.
223. I believe that you will make me strong and courageous, prosperous and prosperous.
224. I pray in the name of the Lord that all the saints will become saints who experience God's amazing miracles through this hymn and cry.
225. Amen.
