Text: Luke 12: 22 ~ 34
Title: “The biggest treasure is peace”
1. A person is always concerned about what to eat.
2. It's not a menu decision to eat.
3. How much can I eat with my money?
4. People who lack money are poor and worried, and people who have a lot of money are worried about earning more.
5. There are few people in the world with materially complete freedom.
6. Young people have a lot of days to live. The elderly should not be worried. But the elderly doesn’t seem to be comfortable.
7. Rather, they live with greater concerns.
8. The elderly are old and bad, so there is no place to hire and income cannot be changed.
9. The elderly are young and do their best to live every day.
10. Our society has already entered a super-aged society.
11. Over 20% of the population is over the age of 65.
12. The demographic structure of each country, where the productive population is decreasing and only the consuming population is increasing, is heading toward disaster.
13. Funding to supply the explosively growing elderly is an emergency.
14. Economic problems are coming soon as social problems.
15. Humanity has never been free and peaceful in these matters.
16. Every year at this time, I go down the river to get some early winter breeze.
17. Great flocks of birds are feeding on the wide beaches and riversides that border the sea.
18. What do you eat?
19. It seems to eat bugs, grass seeds, small fruits, anything that can be digested.
20. There is plenty of food, so the birds don't even fight with each other.
21. It seems that only dogs and humans fight over food.
22. Prices of all goods have risen due to inflation in countries around the world.
23. Grain prices have risen, fresh food, beef, pork, and chicken have all gone up.
24. The greatest damage comes to people in poor countries and to the poorest parts of society.
25. The teachings of Jesus have a strong message for these poor people.
26. Who in the world will speak from the circumstances and circumstances of the poor?
27. A person who is in a situation and situation where he is concerned about food for his life.
28. A person who cares about what he wears for his body.
29. It's hard to find people like this in Korea.
30. There is no refrigerator in any home.
31. It is essential to install a refrigerator even in one room.
32. It is a country with four seasons, but there are few people who cannot go outside because they have no clothes to wear.
33. In Jewish society 2000 years ago, there was no food or clothing to eat, so people were worried.
34. In this day, we have food and clothing to eat.
35. But worry comes to us more and more.
36. As industries develop, jobs become more diverse.
37. There is an increasing number of professional jobs.
38. I have to study a lot and get a certificate.
39. If you don't do this, you won't get a chance.
40. Young people can have hope for their future only through hard work.
41. In the past, children and young men got along well and played.
42. I had many friends, and there was leisure and romance.
43. In this era, children are busy, young people and adults are also busy.
44. People are so busy with their daily routine that they can't keep up.
45. They work hard but are seldom satisfied with the results.
46. As a result, the younger generation is depressed.
47. So young people drink alcohol or seek pleasure to relieve stress or depression.
48. Individualism is strong.
49. Don't get into a relationship if it's not to your advantage.
50. The conflict between generations has become very deep.
51. Etiquette is gone.
52. Doesn't obey adults very well.
53. Increasingly, this serious phenomenon is expanding.
54. This phenomenon is also appearing in the church.
55. The younger generations of Christians are selfish.
56. Knows only me and doesn't care about others.
57. This is how you criticize.
58. But the most serious problems of the older generation do not appear in the younger generation.
59. In most cases, excessive greed lies in the beliefs that the older generation pursues.
60. In the end, you want to have more of your own and collect more.
61. People want to enjoy more and never lose sight of their own abundance.
62. I remember the words of Jesus when he rebuked the Pharisees as hypocrites.
63. Read Luke 11: 39 together.
64. The Lord said, You Pharisees now clean the outside of the cup and dish, but within you are full of greed and malice.
65. Fools in verse 40, did not he who made the outside also make the inside?
66. Am I a saint who only behaves cleanly on the outside like the Pharisees?
67. Isn't my innocence lost and rotten?
68. If you hear this word and are pierced, it is grace.
69. Why does the saint have this kind of greed deep in his heart?
70. Because of worry about tomorrow, one's own instincts manifested as greed.
71. Patients suffering from severe cancer have no obsession with food or clothing.
72. They have no appetite, they don't want to eat, and they don't even care about dressing because they only have one set of hospital gowns every day.
73. How much longer will their lives be in these patients' heads throughout the day?
74. When the breath stops in their necks, everything ends, but there are only corpses that lose their lives and go down to the morgue.
75. When I meet people with an open mind who made me interested in the afterlife, I deny myself 100% and trust and rely on Jesus who carried the cross of redemption.
76. Are you prepared for your imminent death?
77. We will stand before God soon, but we must believe in the righteousness of the cross that Jesus accomplished.
78. Does this only apply to those who are hospitalized in a cancer ward and undergoing severe cancer treatment?
No.
79. Absolutely for everyone and we need to address this issue.
80. People in their 20s and 30s have experienced a cynical reality in many interviews, such as not being contacted even after submitting hundreds of resumes in desperation.
81. I started a business with the few pennies I saved from work and lost it all.
82. Realizing how helpless and incompetent you are, believe in God.
83. This faith is like gold.
84. The faith they profess does not accept Jesus only for problem solving.
85. They knew that Jesus was everything and there was no right answer besides Jesus.
86. We too must be born again with this kind of faith.
87. Start by matching your words with your actions.
88. Even if it's a small promise, you must keep it, whether it's yourself, God, or someone else.
89. From now on, I must align my life with the direction of my faith.
90. Not on my conscience, but on the Bible.
91. Read God's Word Luke 12: 22 together.
“That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food to eat or enough clothes to wear.”
92. Let's not worry.
93. "Let's not worry" to the one on the left and right
94. If I am a disciple of Jesus, don't worry
95. If you want to live forever according to the teachings of Jesus, you must obey these words no matter what.
96. Entrust everything we eat, drink, lie down, and rise to these words.
97. Of all the birds, the most hated is the crow.
98. Crows are completely black from the moment they are born, so people from all over the world hate them.
99. We are too embarrassed to hear that cry.
100. God feeds and raises even such crows.
101. God provides everything I eat and live on.
102. In Genesis, when Abraham's wife, Hagar, gave birth to Ishmael, and tried to succeed Abraham's family, God did not allow it.
103. The reason was that he was not a child of promise.
104. Finally, they drove these hats out of the house, and they were on the verge of dying from lack of food and water.
105. At the sound of Hagar's cries, God provided water for this mother and child.
106. Even though they were not children of the promise, these mothers and son became rich in the Middle East through their wealth.
107. Even more, we are the children of promise, the people of God's covenant established with the price of Jesus' blood, so why worry?
108. It is said that worrying cannot make you grow taller.
109. Short people worry a lot because they want to be taller.
110. It was number 45 when I was a freshman in high school.
111. The first student in my class, Seungjun Woo, was 158 cm tall and I was 175 cm tall.
112. Boys pay a lot of attention when measuring height, and girls are sensitive to weight.
113. My friend is struggling to get over 160cm by any means, but it's not a problem that he usually pays attention to.
114. I can't even grow my 2cm taller because I'm worried.
115. Read verse 26 of the Bible together.
116. Then why do you worry about other things when you can't even do the smallest thing?
117. In fact, most of what we do, whether it be small or big, is God's work.
118. Children's education, housing, employment, sports, business, and food cannot be accomplished without God's grace.
119. Watch the scene where a soccer player gives thanks on the soccer field after scoring a goal and celebrating.
120. See how they pray earnestly ahead of the outcome of the last scene.
121. Even a single lily is made by God fertilizing and watering it.
122. Even the dried grass in the field was fed and raised by God.
123. God's grace cannot be measured by human instruments or sensors.
124. It is not a gift bestowed only on certain people.
125. It is a grace given equally to the good and the evil.
126. The good and righteous man of God gives thanks.
127. But the wicked and unrighteous are not thankful.
128. The saint who gives thanks for everything has no worries.
129. The most spiritual people always give thanks.
130. A spiritually dark person is the first to lose gratitude.
131. Concern and gratitude are polar opposites.
132. When worry comes, gratitude disappears, and when gratitude overflows, worry disappears.
133. Think of the things God provides.
134. How grateful are you for giving us such a good chapel and abundant grace for our church alone?
135. Thank you for sending missionaries to India.
136. Thank you so much for being a church where young people gather.
137. It is God who does all these things.
138. God's work does not succeed or fail according to human ability.
139. If God's plans are interrupted and canceled along the way, it is the concern and worry of the chosen saints.
140. Read verse 29 of the Bible together.
141. Do not ask what you will eat or what you will drink, do not be anxious.142. The Lord has given us prayer topics and attitudes that we should not do.
143. Don't worry about the problem of eating and living because these things are what the people of the world seek.
144. The prayers of the people of the world are to eat, live, and live without worries, but they pray to any god.
145. I earnestly pray with all my heart for the creatures of the world.
146. Or believe in yourself and commit yourself.
147. This is called idolatry and sin.
148. Idolatry people live with a lot of money in the world.
149. If you look around you, you see great prestige and rich people who worship idols.
150. They hold ancestral rites before running for election, and set up a ancestral rite and bow before opening a business.
151. Before we go fishing, we do an exorcism, and even when we build a semiconductor factory, we invite shamans to do an exorcism.
152. I believe in God with the habit of worshiping these terrible curses and calamities.
153. Even when they come to church, the saints cannot change this habit and ask Jesus for a living.
154. This is not what God asks of us.
155. Read the Bible Luke 12:31 together.
‘’Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and he will give you everything you need.’’
156. What believers should ask God for is to pray for the kingdom of God to come true on this earth.
157. Specifically, we must pray earnestly for God's will and God's word to be fulfilled in the world.
158. In order to accomplish this will, the Word of God gave birth to the Son as a human being.
159. The coming of Jesus Christ is a miraculous event that fulfills God's will in this world.
160. God came as a human being.
161. We believe and receive Jesus, who came as a human being, in the image of God.
162. God the Holy Spirit in me gave me the grace that I am now with God.
163. Bless the saints who have become united with God.
164. How can such a holy child of God turn away from the Father's will and seek something to eat and use in this world!
165. Even a prince whose father is the king of a wealthy country in the world does not ask his father for food and drink.
166. Even if you don't pray, you can just eat it and it will be given to you.
167. Prince bin Salman of Saudi Arabia, the richest man, every morning, noon, and evening, bow to his father, king father, for lunch and dinner.
168. In this case, the king's father is sad when he sees the prince.
169. You can't even hand down the throne.
170. If you are a prince, you must seek wisdom to firmly establish the kingdom ruled by the king and rule in a progressive direction.
171. It is best to first strive and strive to make your kingdom strong.
172. Even more so, the people who serve Heavenly Father as their King have received greater and higher grace, so they must pray and obey God's will.
173. Read verse 32 of the Bible together.
174. Fear not, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.
175. Not many people receive the kingdom of God.
176. Only a small group pray for the kingdom of God.
177. Many people worshiped idols in the world and only became God as the object of their worship.
178. There are many people who live by worshiping God as if they were worshiping idols.
179. In the end, what they earnestly seek is a great, splendid, high and spacious land in the world.
180. When you get these things, you will be full of joy and not at ease.
181. Worry and worry are constant and only make the world noisy.
182. Our Jesus did not come as a prince in a splendid and huge palace.
183. He came to a very poor and humble country town called Bethlehem.
184. He was not born in an inn room, nor was he born anywhere but in a manger.
185. But he is the Son and Prince of God.
186. Let's all read the words that Jesus gave just before he left this world.
187. Let's read verse 33 together.
“Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that failed not, where no thief approached, neither moth corrupted.”
188. You make a backpack that can be put in the sky.
189. The way to make this knapsack is to dispose of the possessions you have given me in this world to give to the poor.
190. There is no need to deeply interpret this text.
191. We just have to obey.
192. Guys, do you want to become rich by saving money in this world?
193. Or shall I dispose of my property and give it to the establishment of God's kingdom?
194. Give God your life, your life, and your possessions, which are most precious to you.
195. This is what makes a backpack that won't wear out.
196. If we fill this knapsack with treasure, it will never be lost.
197. If we fill this treasure, we will always find peace, joy, and gratitude on this earth.
198. Guys, give it a try.
199. You can always sing hymns with joy and live.
200. Take a look around those who have laid up a lot of wealth for me and my children on this earth.
201. I have never seen a person with a smiling face and a bright life.
202. I see only those who have inherited so much wealth and live as enemies, quarreling and quarreling with each other.
203. All things abound to God.
204. Man's mind manifests itself in matter.
205. Reward precious people with more material.
206. I only greet people of little importance with a small amount of material.
207. If you have a mindset to greet God in a hypocritical manner, correct it.
208. God created everything in its entirety.
209. Everything belongs to God.
210. Let's read verse 34 together.
211. Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
212. Depending on where a person places value, his heart goes.
213. Those who value God set their hearts on worship and church activities.
214. He who sets his heart on making money in the world is far from God.
215. You cannot set God and mammon in mind.
216. Where are our saints set their hearts now?
217. To be honest, I have more of my heart for God.
218. These saints have a treasure.
219. This treasure is far more valuable than the gold and money of the world.
220. You cannot keep gold or money in your heart.
221. We have no choice but to put our money in a safe or bank account. However, even if you put money in the bank like this, your heart is not at peace.
222. Go looking for more money, go looking for more gold.
223. The busiest people in the world are the rich.
224. Look at the rich people around the saints.
225. Take a look at how busy you are.
226. When I ask to go to church, they say I am busy.
227. If you ask him to believe in God and go to heaven, he will believe later.
228. I'm going to put it aside and try to make more money in this world first.
229. I am going to buy more land.
230. All that occupies the heart is the things of this world.
231. But have we, the saints, come here because we have nothing to do?
232. No.
233. I'm here because I put what should be the top priority.
234. We welcome and bless you who have chosen to establish the kingdom of God in your heart first.
235. Say this to the person on your left and right. For two or three...…..
236. You have the best treasure.
237. You are at peace with this treasure.
238. It is the peace that God gives, and no one can break this peace.
239. Dear saints, no material things in the world can buy this joy and peace.
240. Do you know why?
241. This peace is a gift that only God can give.
242. God's gift, how good is it?
243. So this gift is called a treasure.
244. This concludes the statement.
245. Do not fill your heart with the things of the world, but open your heart to love God so that the gift of God is filled with peace.
246. Can anyone here find 1 Cor 8:3 fastest and read it aloud?
247. Yes.248. If you love God, God knows you.
249. God! Help me to become a saint who loves God more!
250. We all call 'Lord' three times and pray earnestly.
251. Amen
